When her own yard was at full capacity, her sister, who shares her love for gardening, offered up her yard for planting.

This partnership turned out to be a game changer for the farm. Because of their different elevations—Beverly's farm is just above the snow line and her sister's is just below—they discovered a unique advantage. They can plant the same flowers on both farms, but the ones at the lower elevation get ready a few weeks earlier. This incredible natural advantage allows them to extend their growing season from April all the way to November! This means more beautiful, farm fresh flowers for everyone.

Now, just a few growing seasons later, Frog Hollow Flower Farm has blossomed into a specialty cut flower farm. Beverly offers bouquet subscriptions for local customers, which are perfect for bringing a little bit of the farm's joy to your home on a regular basis.

But the farm's impact extends even further into the community. Beverly sells her gorgeous flowers wholesale to local florists and countless local wedding designers in the Placerville area. She also supplies flowers to the high school FFA floral programs at Union Mine and Ponderosa, helping to inspire the next generation of growers and designers.
